Nidesoft DVD to AVI Converter is an application that allows you to rip your DVD movies to AVI, DivX, Xvid, MP4 files supported by Archos MP4, iRiver, Creative Zen, and other portable media players.
The program allows you to configure advanced settings like video resolution, bit rate, audio channels and quality , and edit output video with tools like crop (cut off undesired screen parts), and trim (select start and end points of a clip or segment to convert). You can also control color contrast, brightness, and saturation, add effects such as gray or negative and select subtitle and audio track. Other features include the ability to take snapshots of movie scenes, and merge titles to a single output.
This is a fully featured DVD ripper with a nice and intuitive user interface, useful editing tools, and support for many output formats at an affordable price, I definitely recommend it. If you want to test this software, a free trial is available for download.
